I’d like to rewind.
For the past few months things have been moving so fast that I can barely keep up. But that is how summers are. They are filled with special occasions, days at the beach, barbecues and weekend getaways. You pack so much into the long summer days that they seem to disappear in the blink of an eye.
If I could, I would rewind. If not to have another chance at all of our summer shenanigans, just to reset a bit. Spring air is full of excitement and anticipation of what is to come. A fresh, clean slate.
Since I am unable to control time (last I checked), I decided that our upcoming move and transition into a new neighborhood would be my rewind and reset. We’ve already begun a major “spring clean” of the apartment and I am looking forward to leaving as much baggage (both literal and figurative) as possible behind.
Our new apartment has big windows and crisp white walls, so I have been collecting as much inspiration as possible for decor. Lots of white and gray, natural wood and metal.
