Layered Printed Dress (Zara)
Last week I went through my closet to begin planning what I was going to wear to the slew of celebrations coming up this spring and summer. I was pretty disappointed with what I saw. Summer weddings, showers and graduations call for fun, patterned and bright color dresses, all of which are severely lacking from my wardrobe. Maybe it was the long winter and dreary spring, but my closet is filled to the brim with heavy materials and dark hues, and is in desperate need of a splash of color.
As a girl on a budget with a number of upcoming events, I know I am going to be strategic when picking out pieces to add to my wardrobe this spring. Besides being bright and playful, I am looking for pieces that can easily dressed up or down with the right accessories. More importantly, I want to keep from spending my whole paycheck on a few dresses. I mean these people deserve presents too, right?
I did my research and scoured the internet to find a few options, and was pleasantly surprised by the fabulous dresses at Zara. Although some of my favorite pieces are from the fashionable storefront, I often overlook it. After checking out their latest collections online, I know that I’ll be stopping in to try on a few of the styles below and hopefully pick up a few dresses for my upcoming events.
While I am trying to steer clear of dark hues, these LBDs (here, here and here) also caught my eye. Which styles are you favorite?
