Saturday, January 5 – Day 3
I am happy to report day three got better. I still had a slight headache, but I was delighted to end the day with a nice, hot cup of tea.
It was still hard to be strict in the grocery store, and even more difficult not to sneak a french fry when I served the rugrats their dinner at babysitting. But I’ve made it another day! Woo hoo!
I am also very excited because J and I went to the bookstore and picked out some new Paleo cookbooks to test out. We picked out Everyday Paleo Family Cookbook: Real Food for Real Life and Paleo Indulgences: Healthy Gluten-Free Recipes to Satisfy Your Primal Cravings. I will be sure to report back with my thoughts!

Dinner- Three meat bean-less chili

From January 3 through February 1, I’m documenting my Whole30 experience, including sleep, activity and food. Although I follow Paleo guidelines most of the time, I’m going all-in for the next 30 days to detox and restart my Paleo habits after an indulgent holiday season.
