Over the past few weeks I found myself lusting over the gorgeous and inspiring workspaces that I see on Pinterest. A place for creativity. A place of beauty. A place for inspiration and motivation.
While I don’t have an office of my own– yet– I decided I would begin with getting a desk and developing a small space all my own where I can focus on the blog and some side projects I’ve been working on.
In order to get inspired I filled my Pinterest boards with desks, accessories and decorations that I found beautiful and functional. Below are some of the workspaces I became particularly attached to. These beautiful spaced inspired me to create a space of my own.
Since we don’t have an extra room to use as an office, I decided to put my new desk in the bedroom so that I can have privacy and quiet when needed. While my late nights with the lamp on might disrupt J’s sleeping pattern, he has been extremely supportive– and got major points for putting my desk together! I am so happy to have a little place all my own to work, to play and to create. I’m still decorating and working on my space– flowers are a definite must once I get my act together– but here is an inside peak!
I’m still searching for special pieces of my desk, like a piece of artwork, a bulletin board, new monitor, etc. But I am very please with the pieces I have so far. Style by Lauren Conrad, a picture of my favorite little nugget (aka my little brother) and my awesome new Brittany Fuson planner!
