Can you believe it is already Friday? And not just any Friday, it’s the first Friday of 2013! You know what that means right?!
Well probably not, but I’ll tell you. First off it means the start of a new series called Fashion Fridays! Every so often I will feature four or five fashion finds– see what I did there?– that I just can’t live without.
Secondly, it means that I was able to sweet talk J into a little date night to celebrate the New Year and I can not wait! I am planning on putting together the items featured below for my outfit tonight! Pictures will follow, not to fret!
Fist up is this Michael Kors ‘Runway’ Chronograph Bracelet Watch. I got this watch as a present for my birthday about a month ago and it has not come off yet! I love that it is both functional and a great statement piece. I can wear it layered with other bangles or it can stand alone. Definitely an investment piece, but well worth it!
Second is my London Fog Knightsbridge Large Handbag. I am obsessed with the ostrich skin detail and the color is perfect to pair with just about every outfit! I get complements on this bag from everyone. And what’s even better is I got it for a steal at TJ Maxx! Can’t beat that!
Next is my new Hive and Honey Cozy Cowl Poncho. I asked for this poncho for Christmas and was delighted to find it under the tree. I have practically lived in this sweater since I got it. It’s soft, cozy and goes great with a pair of jeans and booties.
Last, but defiantly not least, Back Zip Booties from Forever 21. I was a little late hoping on the booty trend. I was too busy having a love affair with my riding boots. However I decided to be daring and pick up a pair of inexpensive booties at Forever 21 about a month ago– I tend to try an expensive version my first time around on a new trend. I was convinced that they would fall apart and be wickedly uncomfortable. Who knew two weeks later I’d be buying them in another color? I highly recommend these! They are affordable, comfortable and fashionable!
