As you may recall, earlier in the month I set out with the ambitious goal of completing an October bucket list. I started out somewhat simple with eight things I wanted to accomplish this month. As you could probably tell if you follow Cave Girl on Facebook and Twitter, I have been hard at work to make the most of this month and cross off everything on my bucket list.
I am happy to report that with just about a week to go in October, I’ve accomplished all but two of my goals! This weekend I am planning on picking up some arts and craft supplies to decorate the pumpkins that we picked during our trip to the apple orchard–I’m thinking something with glitter? And then I hope to finally decide between my two costume ideas and while I’m out and about I plan to pick up the final pieces to complete my costume before my Halloween party on Wednesday!
What are you being for Halloween?
1. Go apple picking and try out some awesome apple inspired recipes.
2. Host a fall inspired dinner party.
3. Visit campus during the annual homecoming celebration.
4. Make new pillow covers for the living room (I’ve had the fabric since June, I think it’s time I get started).
5. Enjoy a lazy Sunday morning, with a cup of coffee and a good book.
6. Think of an amazing DIY Halloween costume idea (and actually create it). Help me decide.
7. Decorate a pumpkin. (Some inspiration here.)
8. Buy a kick ass pair of boots!
