Our first day in London was by far our busiest and most productive. Maybe we were fueled by the excitement of an unexplored city, or maybe it was the three lattes– either way we covered all of the top sights in less than twenty four hours and in heels.
Our first stop? Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery.
This was our first view of Big Ben, needless to say I was very excited!
The London Eye is the largest man-made wheel and can be seen towering over the Thames from just about every view in Westminster.
Even though red phone booths are sprinkled throughout the city, I still got giddy every time I laid eyes on one. (And of course each phone booth required a picture!)
Although London Bridge used to be the only structure connecting one side of the Thames to the other, there are now a plethora of bridges that cross the river.
True to tale, street performers wowed the crowds with bubbles, dancing and more.
A with her one true love, Cheryl Cole.
And me, with David Beckham of course!
I think we took over a hundred pictures of Big Ben, who would have thought one clock tower could get so much attention!
One of my favorite shots from the London Eye. I think it almost looks like a painting.
A and our trusty map– not sure what we would have done without it!
And then there were these giant birds.
And no trip to London would be complete without a trip (or two) to Harrods.
And that was only day one! Be sure to check back later this week for pictures, outfits and more from my adventures in London.
