Winter Boots

January 6, 2014

Winter BootsEvery girl know that a pair of snow boots is a necessity in your closet, especially if you live in New England. Heavy snows and harsh winter conditions mean walking anywhere in the city without the proper footwear will leave you with wet, cold feet. Unfortunately, even with this knowledge and seven years of cold, wet feet while living in Boston, I still haven’t purchased a pair of winter weather boots. Don’t get me wrong, I have riding boots and stylish booties galore but I just couldn’t justify paying over $100 for a pair of boots that I didn’t like. Unfortunately, the sand and salt on the roads this season (not to mention the snow) has taken it’s toll on my version of winter boots (a cheap pair of black wedge boots that I bought a few seasons ago).

When I found these Sperry boots at J. Crew, I knew I had found the perfect winter boot! With a rubber sole, shearling lining and wool, rubber upper there is no question that these little beauties will keep your toes warm and dry! Not to mention the color and flannel detail that make these boots look so stylish.
