During the summer months it is important to stay hydrated all day, but drinking water can get boring. Instead of reaching for sugary juices and sodas, opt for lemon water as an alternative. Lemon water will keep you hydrated and refreshed all day. Not only does lemon water give you extra energy to tackle the day, but it also keeps you fuller than regular water.
Follow the steps below to making the perfect pitcher of lemon water! This recipe is the perfect compliment to your beverage table for your next party, or can be left in your fridge for everyday use!

You will need:
- Water
- Ice
- 2 Lemons
- A knife
- A pitcher
Directions:
1. Fill your pitcher with about a gallon of water.
2. Add a tray of ice to the pitcher of water.
3. Cut the ends off of two lemons and discard. Continue to cut the lemons into 1/4 inch slices.
4. Carefully remove the seeds from the lemon slices and discard. 5. Add the lemon slices to the pitcher of water. (For a stronger taste, squeeze a few lemon slices directly into the water.) 6. Serve and enjoy!
