January is the month of healthy eating resolutions. We set new goals and vow to eat healthier/detox from an indulgent holiday season.
Did you make a resolution the eat healthier this year? Perhaps you decided to start a Whole30, a 21 Day Sugar Detox or a Whole Life Challenge program? I am not following a strict plan at the moment but I am working to get myself more organized in the kitchen. That means planning a week of meals, preparing a grocery list and starting meal prepping advance.
Whether you’ve started a specific plan or, like me, are just trying to start off the new year on the right note, this post is for you!
While I am working on some new recipe development for you, I have pulled out six of my tried and true favorites from the archives. All of these recipes are easy enough to get on the table any night of the week and you won’t even feel like you are giving anything up!
– The easiest recipe you will ever learn, my Slow Cooker Salsa Chicken is a weeknight staple! Serve it over a bed of cauliflower rice or wrap it up in a lettuce wrap!
– This Crispy Chicken Tenders recipe is a favorite among adult and kids alike! Slide and serve over your favorite salad or pair it with homemade sweet potato fries!
– J loves this Cajun Chicken recipe that was inspired by our recent trip to New Orleans. Succulent chicken with just the right kick.
– We tend to cook a lot of chicken, but this Chicken Piccata can easily be done with a white fish as well.
– Herb Braised Short Rib is an easy weekend meal during the week when you use your slow cooker. Set it and forget it. You’ll come home to a delicious meal everytime!
– My Sweet Potato Chili Fries need little introduction they are quick, and perfect for a game day snack!
