As I alluded to last week, I had quite the eventful weekend. J’s family was in town, we went on a Harpoon Brewery Tour, had a delicious family dinner in Brookline, ventured around the city and spent Sunday morning eating from food trucks and wandering around SoWa market. Needless to say, this busy family filled weekend called for a comfortable outfit that easily transitioned from day to night and worked well in the outdoor heat and cool air conditioning. Whenever I think of a comfortable, yet put together outfit I always think back to what I would wear on a vacation. Either a long maxi dress or a pair of shorts and a tunic. This light weight tunic (which I also wore here) worked perfectly with a pair of basic pair of white shorts that fit the bill perfectly and added a splash of color. I kept it casual, yet put together with a pair of neutral sandals and a straw clutch.
How do you stay comfortable and chic on a busy weekend?
