I’ll be the first to admit that side dishes are most often over looked in our house. While we often carefully curate a weekly menu, I tend to forget that dinner usually needs a side of veggies along with the main dish. Enter out standby veggie dishes, that is steamed green beans, roasted asparagus and broccoli. Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with these standbys. In fact, we keep them on hand and cook them so often because they are delicious and easy to make.
