This week’s paleo pointer seems like one of the most obvious and important pointers for any paleo newbie, however it is one I have steered clear of for almost two years. Not only is it extremely difficult to create an exhaustive list of everything you can and can not eat, but paleo is mush more of a lifestyle than a diet and it is important to remember that everyone’s body is different.
For example, I (and many other paleo/primal bloggers) have adopted an 80/20 paleo lifestyle over the past year. That means while I stick to paleo guidelines 80 percent of the time, I do deviate and eat some non-paleo approved foods as well.There are also times where I have done a Whole30 or WholeLifeChallange and I remove some paleo approved foods from my diet. In the end it is all about finding a balance that works for you.
