Some days we want a sweet treat or a healthy snack but don’t want to go through the hassle of having to turn on the stove or preheat the oven. Luckily, we benefit from a little invention called the microwave and in just a few minutes we can enjoy paleo brownies from a mug or a sesame kale salad.
Before I share my top 25 paleo recipes for the microwave, let’s get one thing out of the way. Microwaves are obviously not “Paleo” in the sense that cavemen did not use them. I understand that using microwaves are a controversial topic for some as there is a large debate among the paleo community as to whether or not microwaves are a safe, healthy way to cook food. That being said, I tend to agree with Robb Wolf on this issue and use a microwave quite regularly. (Still not sure whether or not to agree, listen to the first 8 minutes of this podcast, in which Robb Wolf and Greg Everett explain why microwaves are okay to use).
