Everyday Paleo: Prior to “going Paleo” J and I did a lot of research– okay J did a lot of research and I looked at all the fun cookbooks! After shopping around and asking some Paleo friends for suggestions, we settled on Everyday Paleo! Everyday Paleo was the perfect beginners’ cookbook, complete with an intro by the one and only Rob Wolf. We learned a lot and were putting our own twists on dishes in no time! Some of our favorite Paleo meals are from this book.
Everyday Paleo Family Cookbook: Real Food for Real Life: After such success with Sarah Fragoso’s first cookbook, J and I were so excited to try out her second cookbook. Filled with delicious and nutritious meals, this cookbook is a must for Paleo families with little ones. Our favorite recipe from Everyday Paleo Family Cookbook has to be the homemade sweet potato chips!
Well Fed: Paleo Recipes for People Who Love to Eat: If you’ve ever visited Melissa’s blog The Clothes Make the Girl, then you know she’s on a mission to “be superfit, well-fed, and dressed-to-kill”– basically my idol. I’ve followed Melissa’s blog for a while and was intrigued when I read about the Whole30 a few months back. After looking into it a bit more and reading about Melissa’s success, I knew I had to try it out for myself. Now, almost complete with my first Whole30, I can tell you that her cookbook Well Fed is a must have for anyone thinking about doing a Whole30. All of the recipes (except one pesky dessert) are Whole30 approved and Kenzie recommended!
OMG That’s Paleo?: Okay, so this cookbook may not be out yet but I can’t wait until it is released in April. With recipes like Giant Vanilla Bean Chocolate Chunk Cookies and Chocolate Coffee Banana Donuts, there’s no way I could say no to the preorder. Plus, if Juli’s blog, PaleOMG is any indication, the recipes in OMG That’s Paleo? are sure to be delicious!
Paleo Indulgences: Healthy Gluten-Free Recipes to Satisfy Your Primal Cravings: Last, but not least, J and I found Paleo Indulgences during an impromptu trip to Barnes & Noble. Filled with beautiful food photography, this cookbook had me at the first page. Needless to say all of the recipes taste as good, if not better, than they look. I know it’s wrong to judge a book by its cover, but just look at that blueberry muffin!
