It’s monday, and that means its time for a little motivation to get you through the week. This week I decided to trade in the typical Monday Morning Motivation, for something a little different.
If you have been reading along, you know that this year I decided to get a DSLR camera. I know very little about cameras so I relied heavily on the help of a few friends (major shout outs to Andrew and Haley) and the responses to this post, to help me narrowed down my choices. This weekend I tested out those choices and finally settled on a Nikon D3100.
Nothing makes me happier than achieving my goals, and I was beyond excited that I was able to save up and purchase a camera that I have been thinking about for a very long time.
Wandering the city this weekend with my new camera, I could help but think about my dreams and aspirations. The things I want out of life, where I want to go, and who I want to be. Some of these goals are materialistic, like wanting to own a DSLR camera, while others are more abstract, like wanting to be happy. And some are a secret. In the end, I just wanted to share that I am feeling more in charge of my destiny than ever before, and I am looking forward to what’s to come. As you know I truly believe, “In this life, you don’t find yourself. You create yourself.”
I hope you too have big dreams, because after all, those who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do. Just believe.
