Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Bacon

A little tapas place near our house serves the most decadent roasted Brussels sprouts I have ever tasted. This recipe tastes just as indulgent, and you can enjoy it without the guilt.
Ingredients
  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved lengthwise
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ⅓ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 6 bacon strips, chopped
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a large bowl, toss together the Brussels sprouts, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  5. Sprinkle the chopped bacon on top of the Brussels sprouts and roast for 35 minutes.
  6. Remove the Brussels sprouts from the oven, and serve immediately.
Notes
For a little added flair whip up a batch of Garlic Aioli and serve on the side.
