Flame Grilled Cabbage Steak

With just five ingredients, these cabbage steaks are an easy vegetable dish to throw together when you are tight on time. They pair well with steak, make a great bade for bun-less burgers, or can be enjoyed on their own!
Ingredients
  • 1 large red cabbage
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
  1. Turn on the grill
  2. Slice the cabbage steaks ½- 1 inch thick, leaving the core in
  3. Lay the cabbage on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil
  4. Sprinkle garlic, salt and pepper evenly
  5. Place the cabbage on the grill and cook for about 5-8 minutes per side, or until slightly charred
Notes
This recipe can also be made in the oven. Preheat the oven to 425 and cook for 20-25 minutes.
