This Tangy Pineapple Pulled Pork recipe comes from OMG That’s Paleo? by Juli of PaleOMG. It is a one-of-a-kind pulled pork that is sure to please any crowd. In fact, I loved this pulled pork so much I ate it for lunch four days in a row! Now that’s love people!
PaleOMG Tangy Pineapple Pulled Pork
- 2 lbs boneless pork shoulder
- 2 cups pineapple, cubed
- 4 garlic cloves, peeled
- 1 yellow onion, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1/2 cup of vegetable broth
- juice of 1 lemon
- juice of 2 limes
- zest of 1 lime
- 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
- salt and pepper, to taste
- diced green onions, for garnish
Instructions:
1. Add all ingredients to your slow cooker except the pineapple and green onions.
2. Lay the cubed pineapple on top of the pork.
3. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
4. Use two forks to shred the pork in the crockpot.
5. Garnish with the green onions and serve.
