One of my favorite things to do is to create recipes (or modify existing recipes) turning my favorite “non-paleo” dishes into delicious Paleo friendly meals. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve described the Paleo lifestyle to someone and the reply is — “I could never do that! I could NEVER give up X food (insert anything from bread, to pasta, to beer).” For me, Paleo has never been about giving up anything, it’s always been about making smart and healthy choices in what I eat.
The “Don’t Cave In” series will feature a number of recipes for my favorite foods, featuring a twist that makes them perfectly Paleo! Try them out or make your own substitutions to make the right dish for you. Don’t forget to leave your comments below when you try out a recipe :)
Also a quick shout out to the amazing Shaela Blaine for coming up with the idea and title for this series of recipes- Thanks Shae Baby!
… So, with out further ado, the first Don’t Cave In recipe is Paleo Pizza! J and I were feeling extra feisty as decided to add some cheese to our pizza–if we were playing by strict Paleo rules, this would not be allowed–but every once in a while you have to live a little!
Enjoy!
