It is my pleasure to hand things over to Rachel from Life Unsweetened, who has become a great blogging friend. Her DIYs and beauty guides are always full of great ideas and it was a no brainer to ask her to do a post on last minute semi DIY gifts. I hope you enjoy Rachel’s post!
Hi everyone! I’m Rachel from Life Unsweetened and today I’m guest posting about some last-minute DIY Christmas presents. I’ve loved all of Kenzie’s posts these past few weeks about DIY holiday gifts- they are great for those of us who are short and time but want to do something crafty. Personally, I love homemade gifts- it shows that you put some thought into it. While these gifts aren’t necessarily homemade, they are personalized and will show you friends and family how much you care.
We all have that friend who loves to bake. Every time there is a party or get-together, you can bet on her whipping up a new treat to share. Baking and cooking isn’t always so glamorous (you should see the mess I leave in the kitchen after I make cookies), but you can make it seem that way with these gifts.
(1) Mustache cookie cutters (2) Martha Stewart oven mitt (3) Wooden spoon (4) Boozy Cupcakes recipe book (5) Silver cupcake necklace
Then there’s the friend we run to for makeup advice. She knows which foundation will help our problem skin, what color eyeshadow makes our eyes pop and she puts on fake eyelashes like a pro. Although she probably has every item in the book, beauty junkies can never have enough products. Put together this cute little bag and she’ll love it.
(1) Sephora eyelash curler (2) Sephora by OPI nail polish in “Fiercely Fabulous” (3) Neutrogena cleansing makeup remover wipes (4) Vera Bradley cosmetic bag (5) Ecotools brush set (6) Revlon Colorstay eyeshadow palette (7) Sonia Kashuk bronzer (8) Philosophy Tinsel Town lipgloss
Although I don’t have many blogger friends that I know in real life, I would love to receive this gift from a friend or family member. As all you bloggers know, blogging takes a lot of time and creativity,- and this DIY blogging gift will help you with both of those things.
(1) Kate Spade 2013 desktop spiral calendar (2) BaubleBar Twitter handle necklace (3) Blog Inc. book (4) Kate Spade crossword mug (5) PB & J USB drive
