If there is one thing I have learned over the past six years, it is that Bostonians have no shortage of spirit. Whether they are cheering on the Sox at Fenway, rooting for the Bruins at the Garden or celebrating the Pats’ latest Superbowl win with a duck boat parade, Boston loves its teams. Even if you aren’t a sports fan, it is easy to get wrapped up in the spirit of Boston. I guarantee you, Sox fan or not, you will be singing Sweet Caroline and sporting head-to-toe red and blue before long.
After the events on Marathon Monday, the spirit of Boston only grew. It was impossible to walk down the street without seeing every other person you passed with a big red B on their shirt, hat or jacket. So when Bostonians were encouraged to part take in spirit day to show their support for their beloved city, I was only too happy to take part! i dressed up my favorite Boston tee with blue blazer and a bright red bag!
How do you show spirit for your city?
