Finding balance in life sounds like an easy concept, but in practice is actually rather challenging. Earlier this year I decided to make a change and sought to find this balance in living a healthy and fit lifestyle. Though I didn’t talk about it too much here, I opted to take the Whole Life Challenge. What began as a fun experiment with a group of friends from Crossfit Coolidge Corner became a catalyst for the way I wanted to live my life.
The Whole Life Challenge is about more than adopting whole, unrefined eating habits and challenges players to seek a fit mind, as well as body. The challenge focuses on four main areas: food, fitness, mobility, lifestyle. Players earn points in each category, as well as additional points for taking a supplement and reflecting on their progress.
I found the experience to be incredibly rewarding and I took a lot of the lessons learned with me after the Spring challenge. Now as fall approaches I am anxiously awaiting the next Whole Life Challenge (which begins September 13) and I want to invite you to get in the game with me!
